I don't know how to start this because it's a bit lame I'm writing this but I need to get all of my love out because right now its blowing up Twitter and it has been for awhile. But we all have that fan girl moment where we can state everything about someone we think is ideally perfect and in my opinion it has got to  be front man of Vampire Weekend, Ezra Koenig. Now I know them as a band don't have and recent music but the obsession with Ezra is real and I think I need at least one blog post devoted to the beloved.

1. Social Media - u say "I don't give a fuk" but u merely desire to give a fuk. When ur last fuk is truly given, a wave of silent  euphoria will wash u - This is one of Ezra's many clever and witty tweets that make you think but then you're like wtf and then you're like oh wait hes so cool and logical. I also want to just insert this Vine because all of his Vines are like this but would you just look at his eyes, hair and voice, very whimsical and on point!

2. City Boy - Just like in my last "doodle days" I mentioned I am a city girl and he was born in New York's upper West side so why wouldn't I love a city boy like him. He went to Columbia University and majored in English and a lot of his lyrics are based on what happened or happens in school and the city and since he has an English degree all the lyrics flow and sound way different than other bands make you think of the city when listening to it. Also have you heard him sing, it makes me melt.

3. Well-Rounded -  and by this I mean he is super talented, he sings, writes, plays the piano, guitar, and sax. AND HES IN A BAND, if you don't find that amazing and cute and that's all I can say about this topic.

4. Attire - Ezra is a very distinct individual. He isn't your typical band boy that wears a leather jacket and loafers. Hes more layed back and playful and most assurred can pull it off. He wears the unexpected, Babar denim jacket, army green jump suit, sweatband and Polo being his signature piece for him and his comedic side.

5. Selfy and Stance King - I'm not sure if it's a joke when he's saying he hates his selfy and needs a diet or says it in Shakespere tone "know thyselfie" but he is pretty good at taking these ultimately odd but spooky and mysterious yet adorable selfys and spells selfie different then the rest of the world [selfy]. But not only does he take odd portraits he also performs odd as in his stance, facial expressions, and the way he carries the guitar on stage, yes they are still cute (uses another adornment adjective for him oops) but just like his vines you're like wtf and then I love you so much!!!!!

Yesterday I worked with a bunch of loving and generous people to make sandwiches for the homeless through the Minneapolis Recreation Development. People of the public aka us, make sandwiches for the founder, Allen Law, takes our sandwiches and hands them out around 8 pm to the homeless around the Minneapolis area. He gets so many people who makes sandwiches, his apartment is all fridges! He also thanks each group personally for making the sandwiches and also donating money. I just wanted to write this because I'm thankful for the opportunity to help and meet a person who takes the time to hand out all these sandwiches and also if you live in the area its a fun and easy way to help out. We made over 300 sandwiches.  In perspective good deeds will always bring you good rewards and good vibes!

Yesterday in my fashion class my teacher told us to wake up today and look in the mirror and say, "I look good today, I am going to have a great day." And I think shes right, when your pleasant with your outfit your day doesn't feel too bad. I'm usually not a negative person so my day was like every day, with the exception of having picture worthy outfit for you today!

doodle days: how you know, can and feel you are a city girl

The other day I was telling my mom about what I want to do after high school aka go to school in a big city. She told me she could totally see me living the city life. I've been told this by some friends too, which is great to hear that I'm suitable for my #goals!!! In response I even looked up "how you know you're a city girl" and I matched up with a lot of the characteristics. Here's my thoughts on what makes me feel like a city girl and what I think makes one. 

1. You know you love me - Not sure if any of you have watched Gossip Girl but if you haven't you should. Blair Waldorf is the NYC queen. With her sassy attitude and leadership, city girls live and relate to.

2. Be one with the Bean - As in coffee! You have a coffee for every occasion, french vanilla latte for comfort, macchiato to feel refreshed and cappuccino for enjoyment. 

3. Constant desire - You always want more for ex. info on everything, fashion, politics or culture. You can also want more of an item, for me it's white button ups, you can never have enough!!

4. No fear the yellow limo is here -You're not afraid of public transit, in fact you enjoy it, seeing the different people and hearing weird noises. Besides that you also love to just walk everywhere you go. 

5. Me, myself and I - You don't care what people think. You say, dress and do what you want, when you want and how ever. You always feel extra confident because you're just awesome.

6. Carrying your life - You don't just have a wallet in your purse. You also have 4 lipsticks, receipts, some pictures and a mini pencil from Ikea and miscellaneous.

7. Over achiever - You don't just "do" something. You become it. Read over 10 times. Go through a couple erasers. Add some flowers. Dance around. You are an over achiever, always adding your flare and going the extra mile is just you.

haul: columbus day sales!!

So I got some retail therapy in and thought I'd share because I'm so happy with the sales that happened this weekend and I got things checked off my wishlist!

Saturday I went to the Twin Cities Premium Outlet and not only was the pumpkin spice latte I had was great but Pacsun was having a buy 3 and get 40% off so I got on that deal and bought these Chelsea booties which are super easy to wear along with a floral circle scarf and simple layering rings.

On Sunday I went to Mall of America which surprisingly wasn't as hectic as it usually is, sadly the only place I bought stuff was Nordstrom Rack. My grandma actually bought this sweater for me and picked it out it's sOooOooOOoo soft and I love the dainty color and feel of it. Lastly is my favorite item I got (again thanks grandma), but this vest has been on my wishlist for far to long. I love that it's not that over-powering with the balance of the (faux) fur in the front and knit in the back and when I saw it, it gave me the feel of the city again because its such an odd piece but gives off a huge statement.

It's the weekend! Shopping time and also homework :/ I've been in desperate need of retail therapy sooooo yesterday night I made this little set on Polyvore. The title is self explanatory, my fall winter wishlist, including floral and plaid blouses, boyfriend jeans, statement trinkets, chelsea boots and random tees and jackets perfect for layers and also versatile.

Hallo!!!! (I learned that in my German class), I want to tell you a bit more about myself because I feel like I haven't shared enough of my personal. So here's 25 random facts that probably isn't necessary to you but hopefully enjoyable and make you laugh, I mean I think I'm pretty funny....

1. I haven't shared a lot of my style yet, but I describe it as more of an edgy and minimal Carrie Bradshaw (The Carrie Diaries version) I even have the big curly hair!!!!

2. I live off of coffee and Mountain Dew  

3. I am the most indecisive person you will ever meet, I moved into a new house last month and my room is still not done due to this

4. I am a junior in high school 

5. I either wear too much black or too bold of colors (in my opinion none of these are potentially "too" much"

6. I wear my leather jacket almost every week

7. My mom is watching vampire diaries and Vampire Weekend just started playing I am scREAAAAMING

19. I love Chipotle, Chipotle is my LiIiIiIifffffeEee

20. I shop at H&M like its my home

21. If I had a million dollars I would definitely travel as much as I could

22. I'm 15 and will be 16 in December 

23. I think London, Milan and Paris fashion week is way better than NYFW, besides street style

24. I currently live in Minnesota, land of 10,000 lakes (when you say it in my voice it's kinda funny) but it's pretty cool here

25. I want to move and go to school in Vancouver after highschool because HONESTLY, it's the best place I've ever traveled too

Back to basics, just like my outfit today, the fresh reviving weather and blogging (again I totally dread not writing for 3 weeks.. I think). I wanted to post my outfit today because honestly I felt confident, comfortable and edgy today. I also feel if you have burgundy lips or any dark lips, and a leather jacket it will def spice up simplicity and the two of them are part of my essentials.
